The NPS Factory Tour offers an exciting insight into all areas of shoe production. Our expert guide will take you through the ‘Clicking’ Room, Closing room, Levelling/ Making Room and finally the Shoe Room. Talking you through production technologies you will learn that while machines have made production more efficient, the fundamental processes have remained the same at our factory for over a century! Come prepared with questions as you walk through Northamptonshire history and modern day manufacturing!

The tour will end within our Solovair® and NPS® factory shop where you can make the most of up to 20% off RRP while you enjoy light refreshments. (Please inform us if you have any dietary restrictions) Take advantage of our Outlet area where you will find other footwear ranges including Limited Edition, end of line and some High Street branded styles.

COST: £20 per adult (16+) plus booking fees. The £20 ticket price can be redeemed in store against any full priced footwear on the day. (Please note only one ticket can be redeemed per transaction, outlet purchases excluded).

A lot more fun than you might imagine! .I’d seen a pair of Solovair monkey boots online and loved the look of them but wanted to try them on before buying. So I persuaded the whole family (children are 18 and 19) to come along and booked the factory tour. We were not disappointed, it was really interesting and enjoyable
Learnt so much about how shoes are made. Very informative and enjoyable tour around a traditional show factory where all the shoes are hand made and British. Would recommend to all.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour at NPS in Wollaston, it was informative and interesting. So brilliant that the craft of shoe making continues in our village! I'd certainly recommend you take a visit!
